Exeter airport has reopened after flash flooding forced its closure earlier at the weekend.
Operations slowly restarted on Monday morning (18 September), with both departures and arrival still affected by delays.
Passengers were initially advised to check with their airlines after the Exeter hub was forced to close on Sunday (17 September) due to torrential rains flooding the terminal.

“Following this afternoon’s flash flooding which caused the closure of the airport, our teams are working through the night cleaning up and we expect to be open tomorrow morning, Monday 18 September,” the airport said on 17 September.
“Passengers are advised to check with their airline for the very latest information about their flight, and please bear with us while we do our very best to return all airport operations to normal.”
TTG has approached the airport for comment.
