Canadian Affair has appointed Nick Talbot its new marketing manager.
Talbot has joined the North America specialist from Kenwood Travel, where he led the business’s marketing function throughout the pandemic.
Prior to that, Talbot was the sales and marketing director at Funway Holidays for eight years, being responsible for the company’s B2B and B2C online and offline marketing activities.
Talbot will work closely with the management, product and sales teams to devise and execute marketing strategies for Canadian Affair and its sister brand, American Affair. He will report directly to Canadian Affair managing director Chris Hedley.
Hedley said Talbot’s "expertise and passion" for the travel sector will be "invaluable as we drive forward into 2022".
"We are delighted to welcome Nick onboard at a crucial time for the business," he added.
"Demand for Canada and the US is surging, and we’re offering more products, locations and ways to fall in love with North America than ever before."
Talbot said: "I’m looking forward to working closely with Canadian Affair’s and American Affair’s provincial and destination partners and, crucially, with our travel agent partners, to keep Canada and the US at the top of every traveller’s travel to-go list."
