The Advantage Travel Partnership has appointed a new business development manager for its southern region.
Jayne Lambert joins the consortium from G Adventures where she was regional sales manager, bringing 15 years’ travel industry experience to the role.
She has previously worked for several other major travel brands, including Tui, Kuoni and Hurtigruten.
Her appointment grows Advantage’s business development team to six, with Lambert becoming its third BDM.
“I am really excited to be joining Advantage at this important time for the industry,” said Lambert.
“The sector has had such a challenging time over the past two years, and I am really looking forward to supporting Advantage members as the market recovers.”
David Moon, Advantage head of business development, added: “Jayne’s background in travel, and her experience in business development roles particularly, makes her another very strong addition to our team.
“Through her knowledge of the industry and strong commercial skills, I have every confidence she will be a valuable resource to members across the region, as well as a great support in recruiting new members to add to our growing footprint.”
Moon continued: “Following Jayne’s appointment, we now have an exceptionally strong business development team, who will be pivotal in supporting members as they rebuild their businesses, post-pandemic.
“Members continually tell us that the support they get from the business development team is of huge value to them, and never more so at this time as the industry moves into its recovery phase.”
