G Adventures has announced it will add a sixth yacht to its Galapagos Islands fleet.
Departures onboard the new 16-passenger custom-built catamaran will get underway in July 2020.
It will sail 40 different Galapagos itineraries, ranging from seven to 17 days in length.
G said the addition would help the operator meet increasing demand for Galapagos sailings, with bookings up 19% globally since the start of 2016.
The ship will feature 10 cabins across two decks, eight designed for twin/double stays and two dedicated to solo travellers.
All 10 cabins feature panoramic windows, lit by energy-saving LED lighting, while eight have private balconies.
Common areas are set across a third deck with lounge chairs, cocktail bar, grill station and outdoor hot tub.
Inside, there will be an air-conditioned saloon with video screen, designed to accommodate presentations by naturalists.
Nine onboard kayaks and two zodiacs will allow guests to access the Galapagos’s remote ports and rocky coasts.
A crew of nine, including a dedicated chef and G Adventures chief experience officer, will be on hand to assist and serve guests.
All 2020 voyages will start and finish in Ecuadorian capital Quito.
Sailings will visit 20 Galapagos islands, including Isabela, Floreana, Santa Cruz and San Cristobal and eight uninhabited islands.
Prices lead in from £4,299pp, excluding flights.
