G Touring bolsters trade sales team
James ChappleTravelsphere and Just You parent G Touring has bolstered its trade sales team with the appointment of two new national account managers as part of a renewed focus on growing business through the trade.
Rachel Mould rejoins G Touring on 1 June as national account manager north while G Touring sales and partnerships manager Polly Poulton has been promoted to the role of national account manager south.
Announcing the appointments on Thursday morning (12 April), G Touring said Mould and Poulton’s new roles, along with head of trade sales Sarah Weetman’s recent promotion to sales director, underlined the group’s renewed commitment to supporting the recovery of the travel trade.
"Strong trade partnerships have, and will always be, central to our ambitions for Just You and Travelsphere," said G Touring managing director Alastair Campbell.
"We’re delighted to confirm Polly’s promotion and to welcome Rachel back," Campbell continued. "They’ve an amazing track record of supporting our trade partners to grow their businesses."
Campbell added: “These new roles will ensure our trade partners receive ever more support. These appointments also recognise that our partners are looking to be supported differently with an even greater commercial focus.
"With Sarah, Polly and Rachel, our loyal partners – whether independents, retail or homeworkers – can be assured of the highest levels of support."
