Greenland among eye-catching additions to Intrepid's 2025 programme
Harry KembleGreenland is among a handful of eye-catching new Intrepid Travel destinations which will feature in the operator’s 2025 programme.
Intrepid will offer 55 new itineraries next year, with its full programme spanning more than 120 countries and 200-plus new experiences. These include expeditions, rail journeys, active adventures, new 18-35 and family product, and sailing trips.
Its new 10-day Greenland Expedition will take travellers inland to “explore Greenlandic culture and traverse the country’s diverse landscapes by foot”, Intrepid said. Prices start from £5,070pp.
Last month, Greenland’s new-look Nuuk International airport was unveiled, serving as the first major airport in the Arctic in what is an autonomous territory of Denmark.
Other new countries to feature in Intrepid’s programme include The Maldives and the West African nations of Benin, Togo, Senegal, The Gambia and Ghana.
Prices for a new 15-day Benin, Togo and Ghana Adventure, taking travellers to rarely visited spots like Teshie-Nungua in Ghana, start from £2,635pp.
Meanwhile, new destinations featuring in the 2025 programme include India’s Ladakh, Japan’s Hokkaido and Cape York in Australia.
Aimed at travellers aged between 18 and 35 who "love the ocean, rainforest and wildlife, the new 17-day Real Australia itinerary which heads from Sydney to Cairns is priced from £2,890pp.
The itinerary includes trips to Port Macquarie’s Koala Hospital and Magnetic Island, opportunities to paddleboard with the Gumbaynggir community and to sail through the Whitsundays.
