Gold Medal parent dnata Travel Group has appointed former Hotelplan business development manager Hannah Eldridge trade partnership manager for homeworking agents in the south.
Eldridge, who will take up her new role on 21 November, will work alongside Nichola Marston, dnata’s trade partnership manager for homeworkers based in the north.
She will be responsible for helping southern-based homeworkers grow their business with dnata, offering product training and insight on the Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Incredible Journeys and Cruise Plus brands.
Eldridge joins dnata after 15 years at Hotelplan where she worked in reservations before in June 2013 becoming BDM for the group’s Inghams, Santa’s Lapland and Esprit Ski brands. She has also previously worked for Sunsail and Ski Beat.
"I’m delighted to be joining the team and to have the opportunity to apply my passion and travel experience to supporting Gold Medal and the specialist brands," said Eldridge.
"Homeworkers put their hearts into helping their customers and it will be fantastic to focus on developing their relationships with us and our industry partners."
Eldridge will report into head of commercial relations Clare Weatherall, who said: "Hannah will make a great addition to our team of trade partnership managers and will give us the chance to further enhance how we engage with, and support, our valued homeworking agents across the south."
Weatherall said dnata’s homeworking accounts were currently trading around 20% higher than average performance. "We’re looking forward to seeing how she [Eldridge] can help those located across the south to work with us and maximise opportunities in the months ahead," she added.
