Haven is to extend its season to the end of November for the first time in its history to cope with demand for domestic breaks.
The extension will see the company’s Haven Hideaway offering available at 16 UK parks until 30 November, extending the season by an extra four weeks.
Locations include Berwick, Northumberland; Caister-on-Sea, Norfolk; Marton Mere, Blackpool and Presthaven, North Wales.
Haven Hideaways are self-contained, self-catered holiday homes on the coast, with facilities such as takeaway food options, supermarkets and launderettes.
Haven will also be adding more dog-friendly accommodation to each participating park.
Gerard Tempest, Haven’s director of guest and proposition said: “With a number of travel restrictions in place, and previous closures to holiday parks throughout the UK, there are many guests that weren’t able to enjoy the holiday they had previously planned for 2020. We hope that by extending our season, we’re able to allow more people the chance to get a break by the coast.
“Our 2020 and 2021 sales have been strong across all regions in the UK. Because of this, we know holiday makers are still looking for the chance to safely get away during the pandemic and want to be able to provide that for as many people as possible.”
In addition to extending the season, Haven will continue to offer its Coronavirus Book with Confidence Guarantee on all November bookings.
The free guarantee will allow guests to change their break any time from 28 days before departure until three days of their arrival date should Coronavirus issues prevent them from travelling.
