Hays Travel expands Big Thank You rewards to seven monthly winners
Ilaria Grasso MacolaHays Travel has expanded its reward campaign Big Hays Travel Thank You, paying the household bills of seven of its staff members.
Each month from September through to December, Hays will honour seven hard-working members of staff for their efforts – five a month from the shop floor, one from head office, and – new for 2023 – one homeworker.
“The Big Hays Travel Thank You is a bit of fun for the months leading up to the end of what has been a busy year,” said Hays Travel owner Dame Irene Hays.
“We put a lot of thought into coming up with the prizes to make them inspirational and fun – we hope they demonstrate just how much we appreciate our Hays Travel family”.
September winners include Shima Khanom, who joined Hays’ Coventry Smithford Way branch less than a year ago, and Bethany Dickenson, assistant manager at Hays’ Blandford branch.
“The Big Thank You is a commendable way for Hays Travel to recognise their staff and celebrate them for all their hard work,” said Khanom, while Dickenson said winning the prize made her feel “very appreciated”.
“I think it is important as it really gives people across the company recognition that they deserve, we all strive to achieve and work really hard,” Dickenson added. “It boosts morale across the company and really makes us feel valued and as though we are all in this together”.
September’s other winners were Macy Langley (Hays Travel Crosby), Georgia McGough (Hays Travel Seaham) and Maggie Ritchie (Hays Travel Dumfries), ancillary business development manager Louise Winter, and homeworker Gareth Jones.
Launched in July last year, the Big Hays Travel Thank You initiative has seen staff members win cars, as well free holidays.
