Henry said she also wanted to thank industry partners for their support and investment.

I was welcomed many years ago and never looked back – so many conferences, events, dinners, awards, and snack drawers! So many people started as contacts and have became lifelong friends."

An Awaze UK spokesperson confirmed the firm was actively recruiting for a new role covering trade relations.

"We can confirm Sally has left the business and want to thank her for all her hard work and energy and wish her the very best for the future," they said.

"We are currently looking to recruit someone into a new role which will cover managing our trade partnerships."
