Hurtigruten is offering guests the chance to earn onboard credit through its new pre-booked excursion deals.
Agents can now sell clients three excursion packages of four, five or six, qualifying guests for £74, £98 and £123 respectively – if booked in advance. Excursions include husky dog-sledding, snowmobiling, cod fishing and mountain hikes.
The deals mark the arrival of Hurtigruten’s 2019-20 brochure, which, the line says, features further refinements to its Norwegian coastal voyages. Its 12 ships will serve 34 ports, highlighting the best of the Norwegian coastline in each of the four seasons.
Hurtigruten has also extended its winter charter programme to include nine regional airports flying direct to Bergen – Gatwick, Manchester, Bristol, Bournemouth, Glasgow, Birmingham, Newcastle, Cardiff and Leeds Bradford.
Hurtigruten has made the programme available to book six months earlier, which means agents can already book clients for not just the current 2018-19 Northern Lights season, but 2019-20 too.
It will also continue to offer its Northern Lights promise, guaranteeing guests who embark on a 12-day Classic Round voyage or Astronomy voyage a free six or seven-day sailing if the aurora borealis is not visible.
The promise is valid on departures between October 1 and March 30 during both the 2018-19 and 2019-20 season.
