Incredible Journeys’ latest campaign sent sales records tumbling for two consecutive weeks, with a more than 500% increase in the number of agents booking with the brand.
Gold Medal parent dnata Travel Group’s touring brand recorded a 200% year-on-year increase in bookings during the last week of October following its first "September peaks" push, while the number of agents booking with the brand that week increased by 175% year-on-year.
This momentum continued into the first week of November, with new reservations running more than 1,000% ahead compared with the same week last year and the number of agents using the brand jumping by 520% year-on-year.
The former Travel 2 brand was given a new lease of life earlier this year when it was revived in time for peaks before a full relaunch in March. An independent touring push followed during the summer, with its Touring Tailored to You campaign debuting in September.
"Incredible Journeys is, and will continue to be, tailored around agent requests and industry trends – we are listening to agents and securing exciting products in return,” said head of product Mark Henderson.
“With more partnerships on the horizon, and more interest in touring holidays from customers, our breadth of product is continuously increasing.”
Incredible Journeys has partnered with G Adventures on its November Cyber sale, with agents able to pass on savings of up to 30% to their clients.
Agents can also take advantage of dnata’s multi-brand campaign launched last week, Winter Escapes, which features seven Incredible Journeys tours.
Trade partners will also get the chance to win two Present Tree garden gift hampers, as well as a holiday to Canada, as part of the two campaigns.
