Inghams has upgraded its online agent portal making customisable marketing assets, deeper holiday search options and other useful information more readily available to trade partners.
The updated “toolkit” allows agents to break down holiday searches in greater detail by market and clientele, and produce tailored window posters and flyers for their agency in just a few clicks.
The new system also streamlines booking management, allowing agents to add advance passenger information, excursions and extras more easily, and download invoices.
Inghams has also added new modules to its interactive training portal, The Academy, including information on escorted tours and new Italian city breaks.
Julie Franklin, head of agency sales at Inghams, said: “With the expansion and launch of our 2020 programmes, we’ve added more learning and selling tools online to help support our agent partners.”
Meanwhile, Inghams has launched agent competitions and incentives to mark its 85th anniversary, including a window display and social media competition to win a wine hamper. Agents should email pictures and/or screenshots to agency.sales@hotelplan.co.uk. Every branch entry will receive a £20 Love2shop voucher.
All summer 2019 bookings, meanwhile, will be rewarded with a £10 voucher, if registered by email with the booking reference and subject line “June Incentive”.
Finally, for all seven-night Lapland holidays booked before 30 June for departures in January and February 2020, agents will receive a £10 Love2shop voucher. Bookings should be registered by email with booking reference and subject line “Lapland”.
The agent with the most bookings will win a three-night B&B stay at the Levi Spa Hotel, with one night in the Northern Lights Village, for themselves and a plus-one. The prize includes return flights, a husky safari and a snowmobile safari.
