Insight Vacations has launched a new 10-day Inspiring Iceland, A Women’s-Only Tour as part of its Wander Women series of journeys created for women, by women.
The trip, released to coincide with International Women’s Day, will take place in July 2023 and offer immersive experiences curated to the interests of female clients.
Guests will journey from the capital of Reykjavik to the plains of Thingellvir, exploring black sand beaches, glacier lakes, waterfalls and floating thermal pools.

Guests will meet inspiring local women such as Agnes Siguroardottir, chief executive and founder of one of Iceland’s first microbreweries, Helga Kristin Torfadottir, volcanologist, geologist and glacier guide and author, musician and director of Bakkastofa Heritage Museum Asta Kristrun Ragnarsdottir.
A Reykjavik Women’s History Walking Tour will also be available, where clients will hear anecdotes and stories of women who have made their mark in Iceland’s history.
