InteleTravel has launched its long-awaited agent loyalty programme in the UK and Ireland, giving its network of more than 18,000 homeworking consultants the opportunity to earn luxury goods, electronics and holidays.
IntelePerks, the finer details of which InteleTravel on Friday (12 April) said were yet to be finalised, will see consultants earn points for taking part in a wide range of activities such as completing training modules, attending industry events, participating in surveys and supporting partner brands.
These points can then be redeemed against more than 1,000 rewards including jewellery, handbags and electronics from brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Sony.
Agents will also be able to put their points towards stays at all-inclusive resorts and hotels, as well as ocean and river cruises and wine and culinary tours.
“IntelePerks allows us to drive behaviour from making internal process changes to improving sales for selected preferred partners,” said InteleTravel managing director UK and Ireland Tricia Handley-Hughes.
InteleTravel said the loyalty programme would improve productivity, incentivising agents to fine-tune and hone their selling skills to increase sales.
“We’ve taken the loyalty and incentive idea from airlines, hotels and other suppliers and used it for the first time within an agency operation,” Handley-Hughes continued. “Commissions come first, then jewellery, electronics, fashion, cruises, hotel stays and similar redemption opportunities.”
InteleTravel celebrated its second-best month ever in revenue terms in February since it launched in the UK market in 2018, with sales in March up by 42% compared with the same month a year earlier.
