Intrepid appoints former Hays agent to partnerships team

Katie Bunting was most recently branch manager of Hays Travel in Weymouth and had previously worked for Co-op Travel and First Choice.

She will report to head of trade sales Andrew Turner and join a team of five partnership growth managers who hold training and visit agencies.

Turner said: “Katie’s travel agency background and passion for sustainable travel makes her a fantastic fit for the PGM role.

“She will be an invaluable addition to the team as we enter our next phase of growth with purpose.”

Bunting added: “I’m excited to be joining Intrepid as it celebrates its 30th anniversary. I look forward to sharing our style of authentic and sustainable travel with agents and expanding their knowledge of responsible travel.”

Intrepid has seen three years of record growth, with sales through the UK trade up 17% for the year to date.
