Intrepid Travel has beefed up its UK partnerships team with a new hire and several promotions to increase its focus on agents this year.
Lucy Wildman joins the adventure specialist as senior partnerships manager (south); she brings almost a decade of travel experience with Trailfinders to her new role, joining from DMC Discova where she was UK account manager.
Wildman will manage day-to-day relations with agents and key partners in the south of the UK. She joins a team comprising senior partnerships manager (north) Carrie Grant, partnerships manager Molly Cofman-Nicoresti and partnerships executive Jessica Mills.
Elsewhere, tailor-made sales manager Natalia Marin Reyes has been promoted to the role of senior partnerships manager, taking on responsibility for Intrepid’s affiliate and co-branded partnerships.
Head of business development and partnerships Jo Reeve, meanwhile, has had her brief expanded to cover Europe, as well as the UK.
"A bigger team means we can give even more support to our partners, and show more agents and customers what it means to be an Intrepid traveller," said Reeve. "I’m excited to have Lucy joining the business as we roll out our plans for 2024 that support growth, collaboration and travel as a force for good.”
Several members of Intrepid’s UK and Europe sales team have been promoted to extended partner support.
They include Samantha Briggs, who becomes head of sales, while Leah Burton, Emily Boscoe and Andrew Everett have been promoted to sales manager roles.
Intrepid is preparing too to launch a series of UK mini-Intrepid experiences and fam opportunities for agents.
