Nearly a dozen airlines – including Jet2.com, Lufthansa and Vueling – are due to move terminals at Manchester airport later this year.
The 11 affected carriers will be moving from Terminals 1 and 3 to Terminal 2 as part of Manchester’s £1.3 billion redevelopment, due to be completed in 2025.
The process will get under way in late October. Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian will move on 27 October, followed by Tap Air Portugal on 30 October.
Biman Bangladesh will transfer on 5 November, followed by Jet2.com a day later. Iberia Express and Vueling will relocate on 7 November, Egyptair and SunExpress on 12 November, and Royal Jordanian on 13 November.
The airport said airlines had already contacted passengers to advise them of the change.
It added: “In a small number of instances, there will be passengers arriving into a different terminal than they departed from. Terminal 2 is around a 15 to 20-minute walk from the car parks serving Terminals 1 and 3 and there is clear signage.
“Other airlines will also be moving from Terminals 1 and 3 to Terminal 2 at later dates. Those airlines will be in touch with affected passengers where necessary.”
