Jet2 announces major expansion at Bristol for summer 2024
Will PayneJet2.com and Jet2holidays has announced a major expansion of its network at Bristol airport as it puts flights and holidays on sale from seven of its 10 UK bases for summer 2024.
The airline and operator has put flights and holidays on sale from Belfast, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle airports. Jet2 will fly 217 routes to 44 destinations the summer after next, including seven brand new routes.
The new flights include weekly services from Bristol to Izmir, Bourgas (Bulgaria) and Costa de Almeria, and a twice-weekly service to Naples.
Elsewhere, East Midlands will gain a new weekly services to Crete and Naples, while Newcastle airport will benefit from weekly flights to Crete.
The programme has been put on sale early in response to customers wanting to book in advance, lock in the price of their holiday early and spread the cost, said Jet2.
Jet2’s full programme for summer 2024 includes more than 120 weekly flights to the Canary Islands, 140 weekly flights to the Balearic Islands, 100 weekly flights to 12 Greek destinations and more than 100 weekly flights to Turkey during peak times.
Additional aircraft will come into operation at Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow and Leeds Bradford airports.
The companies will announce further plans for summer 2024 in the coming weeks, including further UK bases to go on sale as well as the launch of their leisure city destinations.
Belfast will have a total of 19 sun destinations on sale with more than 40 departing weekly flights during peak periods and Bristol and East Midlands will have 34 locations on sale with more than 100 weekly flights.
Elsewhere, Edinburgh will benefit from 30 destinations, Glasgow 27, Leeds Bradford 39, and Newcastle 34 across more than 120 flights.

"With summer 2024 available to book, we are offering flights and holidays across four seasons, so whether their customers are looking to book ahead or last minute we have independent travel agents covered."
