Jet2holidays unveils new ‘Express Transfers’ offering
Will PayneJet2holidays has launched Express Transfers, a service which guarantees customers are the first, second or third drop off on their arrival transfer at the start of their holiday.
The scheme also means customers will be one of the final three pick-ups on their departure transfer back to the airport at the end of their trip.
The launch of the new service was announced by Zoe Towers, head of product at Jet2holidays, at the company’s annual conference at the 3HB Guarana in Portugal.
Express Transfers will launch in the next few weeks and will be included as standard when customers or agents book a hotel featuring the service.
Customers with existing bookings to properties featuring the service will automatically receive an Express Transfer, unless they have already booked a private transfer.
The service will initially feature in approximately 80 hotels across destinations such as the Canary Islands, the Balearics, Turkey, Croatia, Greece, Portugal, Madeira, Bulgaria and Cyprus, before expanding further.
Towers said: "The demand for holidays remains very strong, but some customers are undoubtedly feeling price-conscious in this economic climate.
"The launch of Express Transfers is a win-win for independent travel agents when selling to customers, as it finds that perfect sweet spot between providing brilliant customer experience and offering superb value."
