JetBlue has confirmed it will not fly from Gatwick to New York next summer.
The carrier confirmed to TTG it would not restart its JFK service in 2025.
A spokesperson said it had made the decision “to better align with anticipated demand”.
It had earlier moved both JFK and Boston Gatwick routes to a summer-only service.
The Gatwick-New York route has been hotly competitive, with Delta reappearing in summer 2023 after an absence of 15 years, adding to flights from JetBlue, British Airways and Norse Atlantic Airways.
JetBlue added: “We will continue to provide non-stop summer seasonal service to Gatwick from our Boston focus city.
“As we focus on using our limited aircraft on routes that offer the most opportunity, JetBlue will continue to provide twice-daily service from JFK to London Heathrow and once daily service from Boston to Heathrow.”
The carrier added customers booked on affected flights had the option to connect through Boston, fly from Heathrow, or receive a full refund to their original form of payment.
