Katie Daniels joins Elegant Resorts as national account manager
Tom ParryElegant Resorts has appointed Katie Daniels as its new national account manager as the luxury operator looks to further grow ties with agents.
Daniels, formerly of Kuoni and Funway Holidays, spent more than six years at First Class Holidays before leaving in 2022 to join Maldivian specialist DMC Koveli Travel.
She rejoined First Class in July this year to develop the brand’s islands programme to the trade.
She will report into Tracy Docherty, Elegant Resorts and If Only’s sales director, and take up her new role from Monday (6 November)
Daniels said she was “delighted” to be joining Elegant Resorts and looking forward to working with the operator’s existing and new agent partners.
“We have an exciting year ahead and I cannot wait to get started,” she said.
Docherty said Daniels’ “extensive luxury travel experience” would make her “a real asset” to the company.
“The wider sales team focussed on growing Elegant Resorts’ trade footprint over the past year now is the right time for us to invest in driving those relationships forward,” she added.
