Kenwood's Scott Edwards joins Virgin Atlantic trade team

The move sees Edwards rejoin Virgin after a near 15-year spell with Virgin Holidays, dating to 2005. He left to join Kenwood in March 2020 where he oversaw ground purchasing in the Americas. He will report to director of agency sales Nicki Goldsmith, taking on responsibility for Virgin’s US leisure accounts.

His 20-year career in travel, said Virgin, has spanned product, commercial and purchasing, "giving him extensive knowledge and exposure" to Virgin’s key US and Caribbean markets.

"I’m ecstatic to be taking on the role of senior account manager," said Edwards. "I am committed to building on the fantastic momentum the Virgin Atlantic sales team have already achieved with our important travel agency partners."

Goldsmith added: "We are delighted to welcome Scott back to Virgin Atlantic. He has an incredible wealth of experience and will bring a lot of energy and fun to the team. I look forward to working closely with him on his journey with Virgin Atlantic."
