South America’s largest airline group is to target five key European markets, including the UK, with a new marketing campaign.
Latam Airlines Group, which was formed through the merger of Lan and Tam airlines, will attempt to persuade travellers to head to the continent through a series of adverts.
The campaign will reach print, online, underground stations, billboards and cinema across five key markets; UK, Spain, France, Italy and Germany.
Lan and Tam Airlines will have a heightened presence at a number of upcoming events including exhibiting at London’s World Travel Market and co-sponsorship of the ATP Paris Bercy tennis tournament.
Ignacio Blanco, European marketing director for Latam Airlines Group, said: “As the leading airlines in South America, we hope that this new campaign helps us to achieve our main objective – to bring the European public closer to South America.
“The campaign aims to bring the 115 South American destinations we fly-to to life, from the spectacular landscapes of Patagonia and Iguazu Falls, to the magic of the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu and Easter Island.”
