Latin Routes is adding the central American destination of Belize to its programme, and will be putting resource behind educating agents on what the country has to offer their clients.
The operator is partnering with the Belize Tourist Board on the launch of the destination and there will be two training events for agents in June. One will be held in Tunbridge Wells in Kent followed by a second event in the north later in the month.
Cat Davies, senior product manager at Latin Routes, said: “We are delighted to introduce Belize as our newest destination, a country filled with incredibly diverse experiences – Maya archaeological sites, incredible wildlife spotting, inspiring community visits, beautiful coast and cayes, and opportunities to explore the second largest reef in the world.
“Our new range of itineraries showcase all these wonderful experiences and more.”
Latin Routes has produced window posters, social media graphics and a Belize selling guide to support the launch.
Belize’s tourism minister Anthony Mahler added: “We are incredibly excited to showcase the beauty and diversity of Belize by partnering with Latin Routes.
"The launch will give travellers the opportunity to immerse themselves in our rich cultural heritage and explore the country’s natural wonders, while also supporting conservation projects and local communities.”
