Liverpool John Lennon is to host a recruitment day later this month to fill almost 200 vacancies across the airport ahead of the summer season.
Taking place from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday (14 February), the event in the terminal building will allow those interested in joining the airport’s team to meet representatives from its suppliers looking to recruit, and in some cases, undertaking interviews on the day.
Appointments are not required in advance and cover a range of job opportunities, including aviation security officers, handling agent passenger services roles, baggage handling and passenger assistance for travellers with disabilities.
Liverpool John Lennon held a similar event in 2021 with almost 1,000 attendees coming along on the day.
Carol Dutton, the airport’s HR and community director, said: “We look forward to welcoming lots of applicants with many hopefully starting work here in the coming weeks for different employers, all with the common goal of giving our passengers the best possible airport experience.”
