Majorca to host fam trips to showcase accessibility initiatives
Will PayneMajorca will host a series of fam trips for the trade to showcase new accessibility initiatives it intends to implement throughout 2022.
It comes after the destination announced plans to implement public policies designed to increase the accessibility of tourism.
According to the president of the Consell de Majorca, the main objective of the plans is "to apply social justice, because everyone has to be able to visit Majorca, whatever their needs".
A new tourism website will be launched to improve the amount of information available regarding accessibility protocols on the island. Majorca will also carry out training days for the industry in 2022.
Additionally, work will be done to promote the destination among its main source markets, with specific campaigns focused on the disability sector.
