Malaysia has lifted all Covid-related entry requirements for foreign visitors.
Travellers are no longer required to prove their vaccination status prior to travel to the country, while the requirement for pre-departure and on-arrival tests has also been relaxed.
Prior to restrictions being lifted on 1 August, Malaysia’s health minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced travellers no longer needed to fill in the country’s travel pass to verify vaccination status prior to travel. Entry requirements are the same for all visitors regardless of whether they have been vaccinated against Covid-19 or not.
However, visitors may still be requested to download the MySejahtera app to track their covid status while in the country, though all requirements for home surveillance and quarantine have also been lifted for inbound travellers.
