Miles Morgan Travel to open first new branch since Hays Travel takeover
Ilaria Grasso MacolaMiles Morgan Travel will open is 20th store in the new year – its first under the ownership of Hays Travel – and is on the lookout for five recruits to staff it.
Recruitment for the Trowbridge shop is under way, with the agency looking for a branch manager, three full-time equivalent consultants and a foreign exchange expert.
“The work begins now to recruit the right team," said MMT managing director Mandy Shillito. "As well as experienced travel agents, we also welcome people new to the sector, who love to travel and are committed to caring for our customers."

Shillito said successful candidates would receive a thorough induction and comprehensive training, both from within MMT and from Hays Travel.
Hays acquired Miles Morgan Travel back in May, a move that saw founder Miles Morgan step away from the business after 18 years. Its network is spread throughout the South West and South Wales.
Jonathon Woodall-Johnston, Hays Travel’s chief operating officer, said Hays had been working with Shillito and her team "for some months" to find the right premises after identifying business opportunities in Wiltshire.
"We are very excited about this new Trowbridge branch, which will really strengthen Miles Morgan Travel’s profile in that area," he added.
