The Caribbean island of Nevis has removed its 24-hour quarantine requirement for fully vaccinated visitors.
Effective from 11 December, fully inoculated visitors and cruise passengers will no longer be required to remain in their bubble and will be permitted to explore Nevis without restriction.
Eligible travellers will still need to present a negative PCR test taken within 72-hours before arrival.
Children 11 and under will be covered under their parent’s vaccination status and 12–18-year-olds who are not vaccinated will still be required to quarantine for 24 hours.
Jadine Yarde, chief executive of the Nevis Tourism Authority, said: "We are pleased to see the removal of the 24-hour quarantine as the travel industry continues to gain momentum."
