A Danish cruise agency which recently launched in the UK has launched its first recruitment drive as part of its ambitious plans to become one of the biggest cruise agencies in the country.
MyCruise – which is led in the UK by former Paramount Cruises head of operations and partnerships Sam Redfearn – is seeking a new specialist cruise consultant.
The new recruit, Redfearn said, should have experience in a travel sales environment, a proven track record in hitting sales targets, an in-depth understanding of sales processes and procedures, knowledge of the cruise industry, a good standard of IT skills and fluency in English.
The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring all customer contact, such as emails, webchats, and calls are handled quickly, efficiently, and met with a high service standard, maximising sales, resolving customer complaints where needed and building relationships with customers.
Redfearn said: "We’re looking for a new member of the team with drive, enthusiasm and a passion for travel. The successful candidate will be part of a friendly and positive team, working in a fast-paced, team target-based environment with an emphasis on delivering high levels of conversion, margin and customer satisfaction scores."
Redfearn hopes to secure the new recruit "as soon as possible" and has set his sights on bringing in a second member of the team over the next few months.
