Club Med has appointed a new chief executive for Europe and Africa.
Anne Browaeys, who joined the brand in 2015, will succeed Xavier Mufraggi.
Browaeys will be responsible for Club Med in all European and African markets.
She will also oversee Club Med’s Covid strategy.
Her specific briefs will include developing marketing, digital and commercial activities, as well as efforts to drive more customers towards Club Med’s growing Exclusive Collection and its resorts in new territories.
Browaeys joined in 2015 as chief executive of global marketing, digital and technologies, bringing more than 20 years’ e-commerce experience to the role.
"I’m delighted to start a new chapter within the Club Med business, having already got under the skin of the brand for the past five years," said Browaeys.
"While this is a challenging and unprecedented time for the travel sector, we remain incredibly optimistic about the future and the opportunities available to us.
"We have an exciting pipeline of new resorts planned across Europe and Africa and we cannot wait to share these with our customers, as well as continuing to build upon the strong reputation we have developed as a brand in recent years."
