New route connects Southend with Guernsey

Edward RobertsonFlybe franchise partner Blue Islands is launching a new daily Southend-Guernsey service on May 20.

The 75-minute service will be operated on a 68-seat ATR 72-500 with prices leading in at £29.99 one way.
Stobart Aviation chief executive Glyn Jones welcomed the new route, adding it was the third to be launched from Southend alone.
