New top role for Brighter Group founder Debbie Flynn
James ChappleBrighter Group founder Debbie Flynn has been named Finn Partners’ first non-US based global travel practice leader.
The firm said Flynn would "spearhead" marketing and business initiatives in the US, Europe and Asia.
Flynn founded Brighter back in 1995; it was acquired by Finn in 2018, with Flynn serving as managing partner of Finn Travel Europe.
“Debbie is Finn’s first global practice leader based outside of the US, underscoring our international reach and commitment to travel across three continents,” said founding partner Peter Finn.
“Debbie’s leadership, highly regarded position as a travel counsellor and advisor, and extensive international network, will be instrumental in helping travel and tourism brands build a successful and sustainable roadmap as we move out of Covid-19.”
Flynn will also continue her work to expand Finn’s Global Travel Recovery Network, which brings together travel leaders and experts to help destinations and brands emerge from the Covid crisis.
She takes on the global role after a period serving as interim global travel lead which started late last year, assuming the position from founding managing partner Gail Moaney.
