A new agent-friendly coach brand backed by one of the country’s main operators, offering day trips and short breaks across the UK and Europe, has been launched to the trade.
Touromo – backed by National Express – brings together seven local coach travel brands to provide holidays under a single name. John Boughton, managing director of Touromo, said the company had "ambitious plans" to become a major player in the UK coach holiday sector.
"There is a strong demand for holidays and day trips and we know that customers are looking for more choice in the way they can travel but don’t want to compromise on quality or comfort," he said.
"Touromo will allow us to enhance the breadth of our offering while still giving travellers the assurance of the great holiday experience you get from a trusted and experienced leisure travel provider."
The investment in the new brand includes a multi-channel marketing and advertising campaign with direct mail, social media and a TV commercial. A dedicated online login is also available for travel agents and partners to manage clients’ bookings.
