Greece has become the latest European country to step up its Covid-19 rules, with all international visitors having to present a negative PCR test result.
The country’s health ministry will require all arriving passengers to provide the negative test result taken within at least 48 hours of reaching Greece.
The new rules will take affect from 6am on Sunday (19 December) and will include all visitors aged over 12, including those who are fully vaccinated and people coming from other EU countries.
Greece’s move follows similar policy changes from other countries, including Italy and Portugal, as they scramble to try to stop the spread of the Omicron variant of Covid-19.
