Nick Wilkinson takes top UK role at Norwegian Cruise Line
Sophie GriffithsNorwegian Cruise Line has promoted Nick Wilkinson to general manager Northern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Wilkinson will oversee the UK office in Southampton, reporting to Christian Boell, managing director Europe Middle East and Africa, in Germany.
Boell said: “I am delighted to announce the promotion of Nick... [He] has a tremendous amount of experience and has successfully driven the growth of Norwegian, seeing another record breaking year in the UK in 2015. Nick’s new position recognises his role within the company and is integral to our ambitious future plans.”
Meanwhile the line has also promoted Stefanie Hegener to senior director marketing and PR for EMEA.
Hegener joined Norwegian in July 2015 as director of marketing and PR Norwegian Continental Europe, and now manages and oversees trade and consumer marketing functions across Norwegian’s offices in Southampton and Wiesbaden, Germany.
