Norse Atlantic Airways has reaffirmed its commitment to working with the trade, and has named experienced sales chief Andrew Fish as its new head of sales for the UK.
Fish will link up with Norse Atlantic on 1 July, tasked with strengthening existing trade agreements and seeking new opportunities to work with agents.
He brings 25 years’ industry experience to his head of sales UK role, spanning sales roles in car hire, aviation and hotels. This includes stints with bmi British Midland, Gulf Air, Premier Inn, Finnair and Air Astana.
Bard Nordhagen, Norse’s chief commercial officer, said the carrier "remained committed to working closely with the travel trade".
"This new role in the commercial team will strengthen our presence in the UK market and ensure that a wider audience has access to our affordable fares," he said.
Fish added: "I am looking forward to forging strong relationships between Norse Atlantic and the UK travel trade. By working together, we can offer travellers affordable fares combined with exceptional service."
