Norwegian Air has become the latest airline to remove its requirement for passengers to wear a face mask onboard all flights.
The mandate, which first came into effect on 17 June 2020, will be scrapped on Monday (4 April).
As of 12 February, when the requirements were first lifted across Scandinavia, the airline has noticed an increase in passenger demand and optimism in regards to booking ahead for both leisure and business travel.
A spokesperson for Norwegian said: "The company is confident that travel will recover and thrive during the summer months ahead.
"Norwegian advises all passengers to check the local requirements and guidance at their destination before travelling, including stops and connecting flights in Europe.
"It is the responsibility of the passenger to comply with local regulations and restrictions. Those who still wish to wear a face mask onboard are welcome to do so."
The move follows Jet2.com and Tui, who eased their face mask rules for some flights on 1 and 11 March respectively.
