Norwegian is set to offer a new twice-weekly service from Manchester to Trondheim from 15 August.
Flights to the Norwegian city will cost £66.90pp one way and during the summer the carrier will also increase services between Gatwick and Trondheim to five flights a week with one-way fares starting from £58.30pp.
Magnus Thome Maursund, executive vice-president network, pricing and planning of Norwegian, said: "We are very pleased to announce this additional route between Manchester and Trondheim.
"UK visitors from Manchester will now have easy direct access to this beautiful Nordic region, and we look forward to welcoming customers onboard from 15 August."
Trondheim has been named Europe’s Region of Gastronomy in 2022 and offers three Michelin Star restaurants – Fagn, Credo and Speilsalen – and a range of farm shops and local producers throughout the city.
