Oceania Cruises has recruited Frank Del Rio Jr as its new chief sales and marketing officer.
He will be responsible for all of the brand’s sales and marketing activities and lead teams based in Miami, Southampton, Sydney, and Sao Paulo.
The appointment marks Del Rio Jr’s return to the company and a continuation of his 14-year tenure, which ran from 2003 through 2017.
Howard Sherman, president and chief executive of Oceania Cruises, said Del Rio Jr’s "passion, enthusiasm and day-to-day familiarity" with the brand will take the company "from strength to strength".
"I’m delighted to add Frank and his many talents to the already stellar team at Oceania Cruises," he added.
On his appointment, Del Rio Jr said: "I’m thrilled to be returning to a brand that I am so truly passionate about and is embedded in my DNA. I’m also eager to reconnect with the best sales and marketing team in the industry."
