One Week At A Time to return with Westoe Travel
James ChappleTTG’s One Week At A Time series will return on Monday (14 September) and will this time see TTG catch up each week with some of the country’s leading independent travel agencies.
Westoe Travel director Graeme Brett will join TTG deputy news editor James Chapple for the first in the new series of live interviews, which will be broadcast at 2pm on Monday.

One Week At A Time was one of the first regular online events hosted by TTG when the country was placed in lockdown back in March, and was designed to give readers and views a week-by-week insight into the new normal the trade found itself dealing with owing to the coronavirus crisis.
The first series featured Claire Moore, managing director of then-TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies No.1 Agency UK and Ireland 2019, Peakes Travel Elite.
The second series, which started in late-June, featured Lee Hunt, owner of current TTG Top 50 2020 No.1 Agency, Deben Travel.
This time, One Week At A Time will hear each week from a different agency of the current TTG Top 50 regional champions, starting with Westoe Travel – who came out on top in this year’s north east region.
TTG Luxury editor April Hutchinson, who hosted the first episodes of One Week At A Time, said: “Pretty soon into the crisis, we thought it would be really helpful and supportive to look at how one agent was coping week-by-week as the whole scenario unfolded and, with it, all the ups and downs being faced by the agent community.
“I initially shared a weekly Monday session with Claire Moore, managing director of Peakes Travel Elite in Shrewsbury, to see how bravely and professionally she tried to cope with everything that was being thrown at her and her team was inspirational, and I hope useful for those who tuned in.
“I won’t lie – at times, it was a very emotional experience for us both.”
