Palladium Hotel Group is to reopen properties in Mexico and the Dominican Republic next month.
The Spanish chain will reopen four hotels on Mexico’s Riviera Maya from 2 October and four properties in the Dominican Republic from 19 November.
In Mexico, the family-friendly Grand Palladium White Sand Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Colonial Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa, as well as the five-star, adults-only TRS Yucatan Hotel will begin receiving guests. The four all-inclusive properties sit next to each other.
Palladium’s Dominican Republic properties; the Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa & Casino and the adults-only TRS Turquesa Hotel reopen the following month. They will be followed by the reopening of TRS Cap Cana Hotel on 18 December.
Nacho Gozalbo, commercial director, said: “We appreciate the challenges that we have all been facing recently and particularly those faced by the retail travel trade.
“We know that the evolution of the pandemic has put a huge amount of pressure on the travel industry both in Spain and in the United Kingdom but we feel confident that we can all recoup some of the losses this year over the winter period with bookings to the Caribbean.
“We would like to thank our UK agents for continuing to support us during these challenging times and we look forward to organising more agent events in the UK and hosting more UK agents on Palladium fam trips as soon as we are able.”
