Palladium Hotel Group is set to open a new Hard Rock Hotel in Marbella on 1 July.
Previously the Andalucia Plaza Hotel, the 383-room, over-16s-only property will be situated in Puerto Banus and was described by Palladium senior business development manager Joanne Peters as the "perfect hotel" for stag dos, hen parties and golfing groups.
"We are very, very excited about this opening," Peters told delegates at the 2022 Hays Travel Independence Group Conference in Tenerife on Sunday (27 March).
"It’s quite a large hotel, and around 500 metres or so away from the beach, really close to Puerto Banus Marina and there are lots of golf courses around."
The hotel will have six dining establishments, a rooftop terrace with a VIP bar and infinity pool, a spa and wellness facility with an indoor heated pool and a gym.
Additionally, the hotel’s meeting and event space is said to be one of the largest in the Marbella market.
It comes after the group announced plans to launch its Mediterranean season "earlier than ever", with boss Jesus Sobrino predicting a strong, extended holiday period as holidaymakers seek to make up for time lost to the Covid crisis.
