Panache Cruises and Jet2holidays named among best travel workplaces
Will PayneJet2holidays, easyJet holidays and Panache Cruises have been named among the best places in travel to work.
Firms from across the sector assembled at London’s Rose Court on Wednesday evening (14 June) for the 2023 Best Workplaces in Travel Awards.
Jet2Holidays took top spot in the large business category; easyJet Holidays was named best mid-size employer, while Panache Cruises came out as top small business.
Meanwhile, new entrants – which included Holiday Extras and Agiito – were among the UK’s Top 25 Best Workplaces in Travel, which celebrates travel businesses which have "invested in their people".
This year, two new awards were introduced, the We Try Harder award, which was won by Ski Solutions, and the Happiest Workplace in Travel award, which was taken home by Santa Claus Trips.
Gail Kenny, co-founder of Best Workplaces in Travel, said: "We introduced these awards last year with the view to help drive employee engagement, and to improve our industry’s reputation, with the objective to showcase travel as a great industry to work in.
"I’m delighted to congratulate the brilliant travel brands who made the list – the calibre of entrants was outstanding. We’re excited to already be planning next year’s awards, which will launch at the end of the 2023."
Last year, Kuoni was named top large business to work for in travel. The Travel Village Group was crowned best medium-sized workplace, and Black Opal Travel Group best small employer.
