Paul Hackett re-elected as ITAA president
Tom ParryThe Irish Travel Agents Association has re-elected Click&Go managing director Paul Hackett as president and named new board members.
During its annual general meeting in Dublin this week, the ITAA named Travel Broker’s Clare Dunne as vice-president and Des Abbott of Abbott Travel as treasurer.
Emma McHugh of Atlantic Travel, which was named the Republic of Ireland’s Top Agency 2022 at the TTG Top 50 ceremony in March, was appointed to ITAA’s board.
She will be joined on the board by Martin Skelly of Navan Travel, Limerick Travel’s Peter Brazil and Alan Lynch of Travel Escapes.
Val Metcalfe, Travel Department’s Sara Zimmerman and Angela Walsh of Frosch were also appointed as board members.
The ITAA represents more than 100 Irish travel agent members and 70 affiliate partners covering 140 outlets across the country.
