Princess Cruises has officially named its fifth Royal-class ship, Enchanted Princess.
The 145,000-ton, 3,660-guest ship represents an "evolution of the design platform" used for its sister ships Royal Princess, Regal Princess, Majestic Princess and Sky Princess.
Enchanted will be based in Europe from April to September 2022 to sail on a series of Scandinavian voyages round-trip from Copenhagen.
The vessel’s naming ceremony was part of an original production named "Our World, Enchanted", which premiered on the line’s YouTube and Facebook pages on Monday (13 December).
Hosted by Princess Cruises’ celebrations ambassador Jill Whelan and Enchanted Princess’ cruise director Dan Falconer, the show introduces viewers to the features and amenities of the ship.
The ceremony also honoured the vessel’s three godmothers, captain Lynn Danaher, Dr Vicki Ferrini and Jenifer Austin.
