Princess Cruises is set to launch Princess Premier, a new premium add-on package which offers guests unlimited Wi-Fi for up to four devices, premium beverages, photos, specialty dining and crew gratuities.
For £60pp per day, the all-inclusive package builds off the Princess Plus add-on to offer a "more comprehensive" bundle and savings of more than 50% when the amenities of Princess Premier are purchased separately.
The add-on also includes Princess Prizes, which gives guests the chance to win a cruise for two every year for a decade and up to $100,000 in cash prizes every time they unlock their cabin door.
John Padgett, Princess Cruises president, said the line introduced the new add-on package after guests "overwhelming embraced" the "convenience and value" offered by Princess Plus.
"I can tell you the UK audience for Princess, disproportionally, compared to all other guests around the world, love Princess Plus," he added. "It is clear, not just by a small amount, the UK consumers are loving this service and I’m sure it will perform very well.
"Princess Premier is our most inclusive package, offering guests sought-after onboard amenities at an incredible value. Whether a guest prefers a standalone cruise purchase or a fully inclusive vacation, Princess has hassle-free options for everyone. Every option is intended to provide great value."
Princess Premier goes on sale on 1 June and will be available on voyages departing from 25 June.
The package includes unlimited Wi-Fi for up to four-devices, premium spirits and cocktails up to $18 with bar service charge included, new selection of wines by the glass, 25% off bottles of wine, specialty coffees, smoothies, and bottled water.
It also includes two specialty dining meals per person in restaurants including Crown Grill and Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria, digital downloads of all photos taken by staff onboard.
Guests on voyages departing 25 June and beyond who previously purchased Princess Plus can upgrade to Princess Premier for an additional £20pp, per day.
Meanwhile, Padgett was buoyant over the line’s Alaskan season, describing the restart of operations as "fantastic."
"Alaska, which is Princess’ largest market, is off to a great start," he continued. "We are very excited about the future of Alaska. It is exciting times and it is fabulous to get more and more ships back in service, we now have 12 out of our 15 ships sailing."
