Qatar Airways has resumed its Gatwick services, operating three flights a week to its Doha hub.
The resumption means the carrier is now offering 55 flights a week from Gatwick, Heathrow, Manchester and Edinburgh during December.
The airline also restarts flights from Doha to the Seychelles from 15 December.
Qatar Airways UK and Ireland country manager Gary Kershaw said: “The resumption of London Gatwick services is a significant indicator of the resilience of the UK travel market, and we look forward to resuming more of our UK destinations to support the recovery of tourism and trade in the region.”
Gatwick services will be flown using a Boeing 787 with 232 economy and 22 business class seats. Seychelles flights will be on a narrow body Airbus A319 with eight business and 102 economy seats.
