Red Sea Holidays parent Red Sea Hotels is gearing up to open the first of five new hotels on Egypt’s popular eastern coast as British tourists continue to return to the region
The Grand Palace in Hurghada is an 319-room, all-inclusive, adult-only hotel on the beach front, on sale now for departures starting 1 September.
It features a wide variety of rooms and suites, ranging up to the Royal Villa complete with private pool.
A further four all-inclusive Red Sea hotels will open over the next six to 12 months: one in Hurghada, near the Grand Palace, and three in the burgeoning resort of Sahl Hasheesh.
Andrew Grant, managing director of Red Sea Holidays, said: “The group is putting substantial investment into Red Sea tourism which is showing good growth across all European markets.
“In the UK, we are also seeing tourists returning to the Red Sea in increasing numbers drawn by the guaranteed sunshine, excellent hotel stock, highly competitive pricing outside of the eurozone and the warmth of the welcome.”
The Grand Palace has eight bars and restaurants, a private beach and includes sea view rooms and junior suites with pool access.
Week-long departures from 1 September lead in from £682pp including flights, 20kg checked luggage and late check-out rooms.
